Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the official notification for the
RPSC Sub-Inspector & Platoon Commander Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 1,015 vacancies
under Advt. No. 05/Exam/SI-PC/RPSC/EP-1/2025-26 on the RPSC official website.
The online application process will start from 10 August 2025 and remain open until
08 September 2025. The written examination is scheduled for 05 April 2026.
Applicants must be between 20 to 25 years as on 01 January 2026. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories as per government rules, with an additional 3-year relaxation granted for this recruitment cycle. Candidates must have
a Bachelor-s degree in any discipline from a recognized university, along with working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and awareness of Rajasthan's culture.

Note: Candidates must also meet vision and medical fitness standards as per RPSC rules. PET will be qualifying in nature, but failure to meet the minimum standards will lead to disqualification.
* Written Examination
* Candidates will have to appear in a written examination consisting of two papers – General Hindi and General Knowledge & General Science. Each paper will be of 200 marks and the duration will be 2 hours.
* Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
* Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for PET, which will test running ability and physical fitness as per RPSC norms for SI and Platoon Commander posts.
* Interview
* Candidates shortlisted from the PET will be called for a personal interview carrying 50 marks to assess personality, suitability, and communication skills.
* Medical Examination
* Final shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical fitness test as per the prescribed Rajasthan Police medical standards.
